About

Justin Rosengarten is a New York–based documentary director and editor making original films and branded storytelling.

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, he came back to film after a ten-year career in kitchens — including a stint as the first-ever head bread baker at Union Square Cafe, Danny Meyer's flagship and the birthplace of modern hospitality.

The connection is craft: a dedication to process, patience, and paying attention — whether that's a fermenting loaf of sourdough or a marinating pile of footage. Across both, the goal is to capture and develop fleeting things, thoughts, and emotions … and present them whole.

His short doc The Earthwalker is out now.
