Synopsis
Away Where? is a short film about the chemical dangers lurking in our water supply, made for the annual short film competition run by the non-profit Let's Talk About Water.
The competition challenges filmmakers to take complex ideas from scientific literature and communicate them to a general audience through the language of cinema.
The film is built entirely from public-domain found footage sourced from the Internet Archive — an approach of translating abstract ideas into visual metaphor that has shaped my style ever since.
